"Great hairdressing is the ability to understand each client by looking at their face, their personality, and their style...

This creates the vision, enhancing the hair, while making the sexiest impact, and feeling more how one has always envisioned oneself."

Since 2002, Kim Namanny has been designing innovative styles for hair in both Portland and New York City. She brought her magic to both West Village and Pacific Northwest salons before recently establishing herself in an artist’s studio at the historic Ford Building in Southeast Portland.

While in New York City, she participated in advanced education from Bumble and Bumble, worked as an instructor at the Aveda Institute SoHo, and styled at one of the West Village’s hippest salons, Seagull.

Kim’s extensive training and experience are matched with an easy instinct for personalized and sophisticated styling. She finds the perfect balance between natural effects and fashionable cuts. Her haircuts hold their shape effortlessly and organically, while still remaining maintenance-free and entirely modern. She is also known in and around PDX for her highly texturized men's cuts.

She has a make-up artist’s eye for flattering color. She has a deep understanding of color and its relationship with light, creating hues for hair that are rich and lustrous in any environment. All this is done with the utmost respect to your natural hair structure, allowing you to have the glamorous color you want, while keeping your hair’s integrity and beauty intact.
